We have another new full-time physician in our ER! Please help us welcome Dr. Lambert - he recently finished his family medicine residency in Sioux Falls and is now working here in our ER! Before going to medical school, he was a paramedic and firefighter, so emergency services holds a special place in his heart! We are happy to have him provide care to patients in our ER!

Say hello to another one of this summer's ER Junior Volunteers! Ella is from Estherville and will be a senior in high school this fall. She is well on her way to a career in nursing (ideally in pediatrics), as she's already a CNA at Aspire in Estherville! Her helping our staff turn over rooms, run labs, and more, has given her more experience. Thanks, Ella, for your help this summer! We appreciate it! 😊

Surgery Junior Volunteer Brenna has had a "really fun and great experience" this summer. She said she's been able to do and see things you wouldn't typically have the opportunity to see and do. Brenna is from Spencer and will be a senior at Iowa State University this fall and plans to be a pediatric physical therapist. She's especially loved learning about the orthopedic procedures and further understanding what patients may expect and feel after surgery. We've enjoyed having her here and wish her well - we know she has a bright future ahead! Thanks, Brenna! 😊
