Any one of these issues can cause your muscles to guard, making your gait off. This leads to further issues up or down the body. A lot of times, where your pain is, is not where it actually comes from!
Case in point-
Had a client with pain behind her right shoulder blade. Although she had issues there, the culprit was the left hip. It was tight and pulling the hip up, causing the left shoulder to pull down, creating pain in the right scapula! Her right shoulder was 1.5 inches higher, but now she's even! The human body is absolutely fascinating!
