🌟 Staff Spotlight: Meet Jada! 🌟

Today we’re shining the spotlight on Jada L, one of our amazing Certified Nursing Assistants here at Accura HealthCare Spirit Lake. Jada has been working in healthcare for 5 years and joined the Accura team 3 months ago.

What Jada enjoys most about her role is helping residents with what they need, and her compassion shows every day in the care she provides. Outside of work, Jada loves drawing, and fun fact — she’s also a proud mom to a 1-year-old daughter!

Our Story

Accura HealthCare is an Iowa based healthcare company that manages and operates 32 skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers, 13 assisted living centers, and 1 independent center. Accura embraces an upside-down organization philosophy that places residents, patients, and direct care employees at the very top of the organizational chart. In addition, Accura chooses not to be referenced as a corporate office, but rather a Resource Center. The lower an employee is on the chart (thus having more leadership) the more responsibility they have to be a resource to those above them.

Accura’s organizational philosophy creates an upside-down triangle that is reflected in the company's logo. Also visible within the triangle of the logo is one person caring for another; this represents the meaning of the company name. "Accura" is Latin, meaning to take care of or to give attention to.

As members of the Accura team, we all embrace our mission which is "to be partners in care and family for life." As we strive to deliver on our mission, we will do this by adhering to our values of trust, integrity, accountability, commitment, and kindness.
