High intensity laser therapy (HILT) can be effective for reducing pain in both chronic and acute conditions! We've seen great results with conditions like plantar fasciitis and chronic lower back pain.

When we think of irritated discs or decompression we often think of the low back. But the cervical spine can also respond very well to cervical traction or decompression.

It's not uncommon to be a bit sore after decompression therapy. One way to think about it is that tissues can be sore after being stretched or used in a different way, sort of like muscle soreness after the gym.
This almost always goes away with some rest and ice!
