Lighthouse Physical Therapy is thrilled to announce our partnership with the Evergreen Region Volleyball Association as the official on-site medical provider for their volleyball tournaments! 🏐💪

We’re beyond excited to work alongside such a phenomenal organization and support the amazing athletes in the Greater Spokane area. We had a great time kicking it off at the Sizzler Tournament at the Spokane Convention Center.

🚨LEARN ABOUT OUR SHOCKWAVE 🚨

Lighthouse's Radial Shockwave procedure is a non-invasive treatment that stimulates the body’s natural healing process. It can relieve pain and promote healing of injured tendons, ligaments, and other soft tissues.

It accomplishes this by releasing growth factors and initiating the natural healing process in the injured tissue. Shockwave therapy is sometimes referred to as EPAT, or extracorporeal pulse activation technology.

Sports medicine specialists at Boston Children’s and other centers have observed significant healing in many of their patients who receive the treatment. Studies are currently underway to better understand the effectiveness of this new technology.

It is important for patients to know that the results of shockwave therapy may not be apparent immediately but should increase over time as their injured tissues heal.
