October is Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Month 💓

Sudden Cardiac Arrest is a leading cause of death in the United States, taking the lives of more than 356,000 people every year. Its survival rate is less than 10%; however, having a caregiver around can triple someone's chance of survival.

CPR-certified caregivers can call 911 and administer hands-only CPR within three minutes of collapse. If an AED is on-site, using one within a minute of collapse can increase survival to 90%.
