At least this time we actually had some of our highest scoring mead left when these awards were announced 😆. We took home 2 golds and 3 silvers this year at the Washington Wine Awards.

Herb Nerds along with 391 other Medical Collectives Dispensaries in the state of Washington were forced to close by June 30th 2016. Even though i owned two medical dispensaries i was unable to obtain a recreational dispensary license despite 4 separate application attempts with all papers in order. It is my opinion that cronyism and extreme favoritism was exercised in the issuing of these licenses in the 2nd round of retail licensing. Just as an example, 1st round store owners were given 2nd and 3rd store licenses in the round two in a manner whereas LCB already had personal and professional relationships with these 1st round store owners, they were given unfair VIP priority and nobody else stood a chance. License applications by dispensary owners who did not recieve 1st round licenses were treated like strangers and all submissions for licenses by these ‘outsiders’ were barely reviewed if reviewed at all and this is only one example.
