Many of you have asked, and we’re here to answer!
What do postpartum visits entail?
It looks however you want it to look! Honestly.
Some examples of the things we do during a visit:
• Processing and debriefing your birth experience
• Helping with tasks that have been in the queue for awhile, such as; laundry, dishes, meal prep, nursery organizing, sanitizing bottles/pump parts, etc
• Holding the baby while you get things done around the house, take a nap, shower, or return phone calls/emails
• Troubleshoot issues that may have popped up since coming home with a new baby; latching, pumping, soothing, swaddling…
• Being a safe person you can vent to
• Talking about mental health, physical health, and how we can support you best
• Providing resources for all things baby & postpartum related
We literally do it all! We meet you where you are, make a plan, and run with it.
We’re here to encourage you, and remind you that you’re a badass, even if you don’t feel like it!
Having an extra set of hands, a listening ear, and a shoulder to cry on can make a huge impact in your postpartum journey. We don’t care if your house is a mess, if you’re a mess…that’s why we’re there, that’s why we show up. YOU matter ♥️
Postpartum is hard for most people. You’re not alone!
