What's cooler than showing up in Corvettes? Doubling a donation! 🏎️🤩

The Spokane Corvette Club swung by to drop off their check donation from this year's Glass on the Grass and Shine car show and fundraising dinner. And did they it in style, sporting their Corvettes in the front of our hospital. They doubled their donation from this year's car show, delivering a $10,500 check to help us continue to provide the most amazing care anywhere!

Kids faces lit up at the cars as they left their appointments, including Rhett -- who you may have seen during our Caring4Kids telethon this year!

We're in the Halloween spirit after this year's Spirit Halloween party! 🎃👻

Our patients and families had a blast this week picking out costumes and decorations donated by Spirit Halloween, enjoying face painting, fun crafts, yummy treats, picking out pumpkins and more! Our mascot friends Doris (Spokane Indians) and Boomer (Spokane Chiefs) joined in on the fun with Fezzy! 🎉

Since 2007, Shriners Children's Spokane has been the beneficiary of our community support through local Spirit Halloween stores. Last year, Spirit of Children hit over $1,000,000 in donations! You can still support the fundraising by visiting one of their stores and donating at checkout -- all donations stay local!

Yesterday, Airway Heights Correction Center brought OVER 700 pumpkins to our hospital for our families! 🧡

Staff took time out of their day to unload and make the front of the hospital look beautiful. 🤩

Families are welcome to grab some pumpkins during their visit to decorate for Halloween and get into the festive spirit!

Each month, we are highlighting one of our amazing patient athletes that have overcome their injury and are proud to back in the game. 🌟 October's Athlete of the Month is Mead High School's football player, Chase! 🏈

Chase has consistently demonstrated perseverance and determination, setting an inspiring example for his teammates. He embodies true leadership by encouraging his teammates and fostering a positive environment, and representing Shriners Children's values with pride.

We're celebrating Chase for his outstanding resilience, leadership and dedication. Congrats, Chase! 🎉

Each month, we are highlighting one of our amazing patient athletes that have overcome their injury and are proud to back in the game. 🌟 September's Athlete of the Month is junior soccer player Brielle! ⚽

After a traumatic knee injury last fall, she has tackled her rehab head-on and has remained committed to improving her whole body (through nutrition, mental resiliency, strength, power and leadership) over her 12-month healing process.

She inspires everyone around her, and our Sports Med team are so proud of her!

Through September, Shriners Children's Spokane staff held a supply drive in support of Vanessa Behan. Donations included supplies for arts and crafts, items for science experiments and necessary household supplies. 🧪🎨

Our doctors decided to kick off October with all treats, and no tricks! 🌮 For the second year in a row, our medical team surprised staff with Tacos El Guero for lunch.

Thank you to our medical staff for brightening this cold and overcast Wednesday with tasty food and plenty of smiles to go around! And thank you to Tacos El Guero for coming out and serving all of our staff!

Since 2007, Spirit of Children has supported our hospital with all donations going to benefit our Child Life team. Last year, they hit over $1,000,000 in donations!
