Grief is hard and a natural process that can not be hurried or rushed. The first daffodils of the spring have always brought me joy, but waking up today to these first blooms was a lovely reminder. A reminder that even in darkness, in the depth of grief, new life will still come. Healing may not always be a tea, tincture, or coping skill but may come from the simple acts of nature around us. I know my puppy sent these daffodils to me from heaven 🌼
