This summer, we lost a cherished member of our Coeur d’Alene team, Tyler Douglass Bishop. Tyler’s compassion, dedication, and joy in working with children with autism touched so many lives, and his legacy continues to inspire us.

In his honor, our community has surrounded us with love through generous Amazon Wishlist donations of toys and supplies. Though we may not know every donor by name, every gift is a heartfelt reminder of the impact Tyler made.

Where used, 93% of sessions achieve a score of 4 or higher on our 5-point engagement scale. The engagement scale is a measure of how positively and meaningfully a child participates in therapy. A score of 4 reflects active engagement and happiness two specific measures that we track each session.

🦎☕ Critter Chronicles: Gertie Gets Caffeinated (kinda) 🌞

Okay, so this happened in August… but time works differently when you’re a bearded dragon with places to be. 😎

Gertie stepped out for a little fresh air and a coffee stop (for her humans, not her as she’s more of a sunshine-sipper). Our Davenport clinic mascot turned heads and reminded everyone that self-care can look like sunshine, a sidewalk stroll, and soaking in the moment.

From scales to smiles, she’s always repping the spirit of Caravel! 💚

Camp Week Rewind! 🌞🏕️

With our chilly weather, we are wanting to look back and relive some warmth. Last month, our Brookfield crew turned the clinic into a campsite complete with a tent, “bonfire,” s’mores, friendship bracelets, and even a little fishing fun! 🎣🔥🍫

It was an unforgettable week of friendship, laughter, and learning filled with smiles, teamwork, and skill-building for our amazing kiddos. 💙

We’re still feeling the camp magic! ✨

🌍 August is Humanitarian Month. It's a time to celebrate compassion, generosity, and the power of community.

Our Moorhead team was honored to join Families United for Self-Empowerment (FUSE) at their Back to School Connect event. What started as backpacks and school supplies became so much more including free haircuts, resources, and encouragement that made sure every child walked into the new school year feeling supported.

We are humbled to see our local story shared by FUSE and proud to reshare it here. This event shows how much we can achieve when we come together for families and children. ❤️

Last week, our Caravel team was honored to be part of the Back to School Connect event, hosted by Families United for Self-Empowerment (FUSE). This annual gathering is so much more than just handing out backpacks and school supplies—it’s about showing up for families, lifting each other up, and making sure every child walks into the school year feeling prepared and supported.

From backpacks and crayons to free haircuts and community resources, the generosity at this event was overflowing. We met so many amazing families, heard their stories, and connected them with organizations ready to walk alongside them throughout the year.

We are beyond grateful to be part of a community that comes together in such a powerful way. Events like this remind us why we do what we do—and just how much we can accomplish when we work together. ❤️
