Welcome to Mental Health Monday!! This new group is attached to INDEx - Inland Northwest Disability Experience. We are a Center for Independent Living (CIL) that provides services and supports to five counties in northeast Washington - Spokane, Stevens, Ferry, Pend Oreille, and Lincoln.
INDEx is a nonprofit organization run by people with disabilities for people with disabilities. We provides peer counseling, skills training, support and mentoring as qell as youth transition services. At INDEx, we believe the best advice often comes from those who have already experienced it and that everyone has the right to access their community as independently as they wish and we are here to assist in reaching that independence.
This page provides a safe place to find information and resources as well as find peer support in areas that effect mental health. Mental health is just as important as physical health. Mental health changes over time in response to different stresses and experiences. There are many factors, both internal and external, that can affect where a person is on the mental health continuum at any given time.
Mental Health Monday meets as a group the 4th Monday of each month from 5PM-6:30PM PST. Both in-person and virtual options are available.
Remember, you are not alone! There is help available!
