When I was in elementary school we had a cozy day in the classroom called a “Read-In Day” everyone would bring sleeping bags, blankets and pillows and we would find a spot in the classroom to spend the day reading. The teachers brought in lunch and we spent the entire day relaxing. I remembered this childhood moment recently and it inspired me to create a little retreat this winter.
We can all use a little moment of stillness, creativity and relaxation. During the hour of personal time, I encourage you to bring a book, a quiet craft, or just take a nap if that’s what you need. Let this be your permission slip to rest and rest this winter.
I hope you’ll join me for something nourishing and really special!
