The Shades of Motherhood Network, in partnership with Providence, is proud to host a **World Doula Day Meetup**—bringing together community and healthcare to create real change.

We are honored to welcome the Mayor, who will be joining us and presenting a proclamation for World Doula Day, recognizing the vital role doulas play in supporting pregnant people and improving maternal health outcomes.

This initiative was created to bridge the gap in healthcare—because real transformation begins with connection. Getting to know one another is the first step in changing systems, and collaboration is how we move forward and crush the maternal health crisis.

Thank you to Mayor Lisa Brown City of Spokane Mayor's Office for standing with us and affirming that doulas are an essential part of the care team.
