This month, we are excited to celebrate Jacquelyn Clemmons, Sam Kimball, and Leola Rouse. Each of you inspires us daily through the incredible work you do with the Shades of Motherhood Network, and we are so grateful for your dedication and impact.

Jacquelyn, your commitment to our doula program is truly amazing. Your guidance is invaluable, not only to our doulas but to the families they serve. Your leadership continues to strengthen our work in meaningful ways.

Leola, the impact you’ve made as our Peer Support Lead is remarkable. Through your training and hands-on support with our peer support team, you’ve helped shape how we deliver compassionate, high-quality peer support to our community, work that will influence our organization for years to come.

Sam, your contributions across so many projects at Shades are incredible. The care and creativity you bring to your work directly influence how we support families, and your support of our childbirth education classes has helped them truly thrive.

A 2025 Highlight
This year, SOMN’s Health & Wellness District uplifted community through access to holistic resources, education, advocacy, and care. From free community baby showers and wellness classes to specialized trainings and powerful partnerships, this work centered mental, physical, and emotional well-being.
As we move into 2026, we’re excited to deepen our impact, expand access, and continue building healthier, more supported communities.
