😴👶 A stuffy nose can make sleep tough for your baby—and for you. But did you know that propping them up to help them breathe can actually be dangerous?

The American Academy of Pediatrics reminds us:
🚫 No pillows, wedges, or inclined sleepers
✅ Always place baby flat on their back, on a firm surface
💡 Use a humidifier, nasal saline drops, or gentle suction to ease congestion

Your baby’s safety comes first—even when they have the sniffles.

Thankful for CHAS, my amazing staff, my physician colleagues, our behavioral health department, soon to start our own child psychiatrist, lactation, and our learners…U of W medical students, WSU pediatric residents and more… and especially my families and my boys. Your support means the world. We are about to do amazing things together for our patients and the community! after all these years in my career I have never been able to give this much care to my patients. 🫶😊
