🍂 We spent the afternoon taking in the fall colors with a trip to Sunset Orchard on Green Bluff! Our residents enjoyed a stroll through the pumpkin patch, purchasing fresh apples and peaches, and overall taking in this beautiful autumn weather.

🍎 Our residents recently turned their tables into an assembly line to create non-perishable snack bags for Second Harvest food bank! Each bag included something extra – a handwritten note to brighten someone's day. 📝

Our community members participated in every step, from selecting items to writing personal messages. We love finding meaningful ways to support our neighbors right here in Spokane. 🏠

During Assisted Living Week, our ageless adventure embarked on a cultural exploration of New Zealand, facilitated by Kem's informative presentation on the island's history and Māori heritage. Our kitchen staff additionally prepared authentic New Zealand cuisine, including meat pies and "hokey pokey", commonly found street foods in the country. We express our gratitude to Kem for sharing her expertise and enhancing our appreciation of New Zealand's rich cultural landscape.

We commenced with honoring the remarkable grandmothers and grandfathers on Grandparents Day, proceeded with our Decades Day, and then embarked on our Safari Day. We’re only halfway through celebrating our Assisted Living residents this week, stay tuned for what’s to come!
