Our Horizon Hospice Nurses Honor Guard visits The Gallery! Today the staff at The Gallery wanted to honor our Honor Guard for providing the Nurses Honor Guard ceremony! The Stellar Foundation participated in our raffle earlier this year and donated funds to buy additional Honor Guard uniforms!

Our 2025 Mother's Day Afghan and Quilt Gifts are ready to be shared with our patients this week! We are so grateful to our textile volunteer teams for including us in their mission to serve!

We delivered 60 daffodil bouquets this week to bereaved families! Volunteers Linda, Dave & Vicki, Amy E. and her friend Linda, and Kim delivered. Dave and Ruth did the outliers in Latah and Medical Lake. Dave definitely wins though because he was lost in the farmlands searching for his family for quite a while! Thank you to all who participated! We have changed this wonderful, simple event to make it more affordable and more accessible so plan now to join next year!

Dear Horizon Hospice Family,

It's Daffodil/Bereavement Bouquet Days!
This year we will be offering this opportunity to care for our bereaved families by purchasing a bouquet. Each year the bouquets are funded by our Horizon Hospice family and network.

The power of plants we often take for granted, but the power this bouquet provides is a moment of encouragement for those experiencing loss and grief.

Each bouquet is $5.00 each or 5 for $20.00 from March 25-April 14th and will be delivered the week of April 14th -18th by our volunteers. This year the donations will be collected by Amy or I in our office at 608 E Holland with a check made out to Horizon Hospice memo -Donated Funds or cash. We would like to raise enough to deliver 50-70 bouquets this year. Please consider joining in this simple way of blessing our families who have lost their loved one this past year.

Thanks again to all who bought Raffle tickets and to those who contributed Raffle items! We raised $1,825.00. These funds are and will be used for the Barb Morgan Commemorative Nurse Honor Guard ceremonies for our Hospice patients who are retired nurses.
