Please help us welcome our newest physician, Dr. Burke!

Dr. Burke graduated summa cm laude from the University of Pennsylvania where he received his undergraduate degree in chemistry. Prior to his medical training, he spent a year teaching English in Temuco, Chile with the governmental program Ingles Abre Puertas. He then graduated from medical school at the University of Miami in Florida and did an internal medicine internship at the Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago and finished his training with a fellowship in Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Burke joined the Spokane Eye Clinic in October 2022.

A message from our CEO, "Even though many of the COVID 19 restrictions are expiring on Monday, October 31st, all the guidance so far from the state of Washington is masks ARE still required in Healthcare settings AND as a healthcare employer, we must continue to follow the guidance for ongoing testing of employees with COVID symptoms, notifying close contacts of employees who test positive for COVID, and require employees who test positive for COVID to stay home at least 5 days after the onset of symptoms and be symptom free before returning to work."

Please help us welcome our newest doctor, Dallin J. Andersen!

Dr. Andersen is a retina specialist and has a particular interest in the treatment of macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, macular holes and puckers, retinal detachments, and many other inherited and acquired vitreoretinal disorders. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Retina Specialists. He has completed both clinical and bench research in various areas of ophthalmology and has multiple publications. In particular, he has been involved in nearly a dozen clinical trials investigating the efficacy and safety of treatments for diabetic macular edema and neovascular age-related macular degeneration. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
