Hey everyone! As we dive into summer and soak up the sun, let's not forget to protect our skin and stay vigilant against skin cancer. Here are some important tips and reminders to keep you and your loved ones safe:

Skin cancer is the most common cancer in the U.S. and early detection can save lives!! 
Regular skin exams help catch issues before they become serious.
πΆοΈ Sun Safety Tips:
Wear Sunscreen: Use broad-spectrum SPF 30+ and reapply every 2 hours.
Seek Shade: Avoid direct sun exposure between 10 AM and 4 PM.
Protective Clothing: Wear hats, sunglasses, and long sleeves.
Avoid Tanning Beds: They significantly increase the risk of skin cancer.

Check Monthly: Regular self-exams help you notice changes early.
Use a Mirror: Examine all areas, including hard-to-see places.
Know the ABCDEs:
Asymmetry: One half is unlike the other.
Border: Irregular, scalloped, or poorly defined edges.
Color: Varies from one area to another.
Diameter: Larger than 6mm (pencil eraser).
Evolving: Changes in size, shape, or color.
