Last week, our team from Discovery Counseling Group had the privilege of attending the 🤝🤎

Being in a space filled with so many dedicated providers, advocates, and resources is so rewarding ✨🏆a reminder that community care ❤️is real and alive. At the same time, it’s impossible to ignore the weight 🪨 of seeing just how many of our neighbors 🏘️are carrying unmet needs, uncertainty, and survival-level stress.

Both things can be true.
Hope and heartbreak.❤️‍🩹
Resources and scarcity.
Care and the reality that it’s still not enough.🪫

Events like this reinforce why mental health 🧠support must be accessible, trauma-informed, and rooted🪴 in dignity. Healing ❤️‍🩹doesn’t happen in isolation, and no one should have to navigate housing instability, systemic barriers, or emotional pain alone.

We’re grateful to stand alongside 👥so many doing this work ✨and we remain committed to showing up, listening, and advocating for a community where support is not the exception, but the norm.🤎

Last week, our interns from Discovery Counseling Group stood in community at the Washington State Capitol in Olympia for Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Day. Surrounded by immigrants, refugees, and allies from across the state, we marched, we listened, and we raised our voices 🗣️together.🤝🏿💛

This day was a powerful reminder that healing❤️‍🩹 and justice are deeply connected. Choosing love over fear. Choosing joy, dignity, and a future where everyone 👥regardless of immigration status has the opportunity to thrive.🪴

We hold deep gratitude for the organizers, interpreters, volunteers, and all who made space for these voices to be heard. There is no justice without immigrant justice, and there is healing in standing together.✨🤎
