Yesterday, our community lost someone truly irreplaceable.

Jonathan Shuffield was a friend, a mentor, a chosen brother, and a bright light in every room he entered. Whether behind a microphone, on stage, or simply sharing space with those he loved, he brought laughter, warmth, and a sense of belonging that so many of us needed more than words can express.

He had that rare gift of making people feel seen. A quick wit, a generous heart, and a smile that seemed to say, “you’re safe here.”

Our LGBTQIA+ community is stronger because of him. Kinder because of him. Braver because of him.

We will carry his spirit forward—in the way we show up for each other, in the joy we refuse to let go of, and in the love we continue to build together.

Rest easy, dear friend. You will always be part of this family. 💙

There are 3 different opportunities to connect with community in a SAFE place. Join us for SAN's Support Groups on the 5th, 21st, and Women's Group on the 13th.

All groups are held in the SAN/Pride community room from 2-4pm. If you are unable to make it in person, there is also a virtual option.
