Our Intergenerational Poetry Showcase featured our residents, students from Spokane schools, and Spokane Poet Laureate Mery Noel Smith—who has been teaching poetry workshops at Touchmark every other week for over a year. Thanks to all our poets & audience members for a beautiful evening of expression, connection, and community.

What You’ll Need:
• Pearl onions (about 1–2 lbs)
• 1 stick of butter
• 1–2 tsp garlic powder, paprika & herb blend

How to Make It:
1. Add pearl onions to a crockpot
2. Top with butter and seasonings
3. Cover and cook on high for 1.5 hours
4. Enjoy!
