Happy Fall! October is breast health awareness month. Are you estrogen dominant? How would you know if you have not had thermal imaging in grayscale? Blood tests don’t reveal what is being produced locally in the breast tissue. Your estrogen levels could be 50 times the amount that is showing in your blood work. You can see the effects of estrogen on your breast, thermal images. Did you know that 80% of breast cancers have no family history? Also, living in Washington state, we have some of the highest breast cancer rates in the country. The bottom line is that breast thermal imaging has the ability to see the disease process at its earliest beginnings, before a tumor has formed. It does not replace a mammogram, ultrasound or MRI. You are already sick once they see something with those technologies. Breast thermal imaging has the ability to give you the gift of an early warning. Why would all medical providers not recommend adding this additional tool in this fight against breast disease? Doctors can’t be experts at everything. It’s no secret that medical doctors have very little training in anything preventative. The most disheartening thing I hear on occasion, is the misinformation their providers may give them. Some medical providers may discredit thermography as a waste of time and money. In defense of this amazing technology, the best thing you can ask these providers is “What other FDA recommended technologies do you not recommend for your patients?” Breast thermal imaging has been FDA approved since 1982, as an adjunct to all other imaging technologies. This gives you the opportunity for the gift of an early warning and the ability to make lifestyle changes to turn the disease process around.Most cancers are preventable! Use every tool available.
