Spokane Pediatrics Welcome to Spokane Pediatrics

Spokane Pediatrics opens its doors to serve Spokane families seeking a more personal approach to their children’s health and well-being. At a time when pediatrician offices are rapidly being absorbed by large healthcare systems, Spokane Pediatrics will offer family-centered care in an intimate, small office setting. As a small practice, Dr. Kimberly Grandinetti, M.D., FAAP, Timothy Crum, MD, can offer personalized care, and practice as they believe medicine should be, without the influence or restrictions of a large, healthcare system.

A stuffy nose can make sleep tough for your baby and for you. But did you know propping them up to help them breathe can actually be dangerous?

The American Academy of Pediatrics reminds us:
🚫 No pillows, wedges, or inclined sleepers
✅ Always place baby flat on their back, on a firm surface
💡 Use a humidifier, nasal saline drops, or gentle suction to ease congestion

Your baby’s safety comes first—even with sniffles. Reach out to your child’s provider if symptoms worsen or for tips to help your baby feel better.

👐 National Handwashing Awareness Week 🧼

Let's spread the word about the importance of hand hygiene. Washing your hands properly can prevent the spread of germs and keep you and your loved ones healthy.
Did you know? Handwashing can reduce the number of people who get sick with gastrointestinal illnesses by 23-40% and reduce respiratory illnesses, like colds, by 16-21%, according to the CDC. For effective hand hygiene, scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds.

Let's stay safe together this holiday season by washing our hands!

🦃 Happy Thanksgiving from Spokane Pediatrics!

If you’re cooking today and need to keep the little ones busy, try a Gratitude Turkey Craft: cut out a turkey body and colorful feathers, have kids write what they’re thankful for on each feather, then glue them together to create a festive turkey.

A fun way to celebrate gratitude while you prep the feast (and you get a cute craft out of it 😉).

The Dream

Kimberly Grandinetti, MD and Kim Resleff, ARNP are fulfilling a dream. Spokane Pediatrics is the creation of two hard working pediatric providers whose dream it was to deliver exceptional pediatric care while remaining in an independent practice. The amazing story of how these two met and created Spokane Pediatrics is best told over cups of coffee, but for now they will be hard at work taking care of your most precious little ones (and big ones too!).
