Hello! This is Lilac City Neuropsychology's inaugural post!🎉

LCNP is a small private practice on the South Hill specializing in the neuropsychological assessment of older adults, as well as presurgical candidates. We work with your primary care provider and other doctors to help provide diagnostic clarification and recommendations for treatment when patients are reporting cognitive changes.

But what does all that mean? In a nutshell, we provide testing services for patients who are worried they may have dementia. We meet with you and your family to learn more about your concerns and administer a variety of paper-and-pencil tests. Based on your test scores, information from you and your family, and medical records, we determine whether you have dementia, what type it is, and what things you can do to help. We also see patients for testing when they are preparing to undergo a major surgery for conditions like epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, organ transplant, etc.
