Why consider this excellent opportunity for your feline companion?
If your pet isn’t spayed or neutered yet, we recommend considering the risks of an intact animal:
- Pyometra (this can be fatal if untreated)
- Dystocia (complicated birth) / The need for a cesarian (can cost thousands)
- Testicular Cancer
- Increased fighting in indoor/outdoor cats
- There are already many, many unwanted cats in our community, and It’s much harder to rehome them than you may think
- Mammary Cancer
- Increased risk of things like hit by car, lost and never found, and many more terrible outcomes

Thanks to a generous $10,000 gift from a devoted animal lover, this May we are offering $25 feline spay/neuter appointments in honor of their soul pet, Meija. The Meija Fund will provide accessible spay/neuters for 100 cats, helping reduce pet overpopulation and ensure more cats can live healthier, safer lives.
We will offer 20 appointments per day on May 1, 6, 8, 12, and 13. Each appointment includes:
🐾 Spay or neuter surgery
🐾 Microchipping
🐾 Rabies vaccination
🐾 Take-home pain medication
A $25 nonrefundable fee is required to secure each appointment. This service is available to low-income community members only. Eligibility will be verified at the time of scheduling to ensure this program reaches the families and pets who need it most.
