Life-Saving Hero = Churu Time! 🐾

Last night, one of our fellow feline friends was in need, and Dani stepped up to help. This sweet boy donated blood to a very sick kitty and truly helped make a difference.

And as we all know... after giving blood, you absolutely deserve snacks so naturally, Dani was rewarded with some well-earned Churu!

Great job being a lifesaving hero, Dani! 🐱❤️

🚨 🐾 Fat Boi Alert🐾🚨

Help us send all the positive thoughts and wishes to the amazing Fat Boi. This glorious creature is staying with us in the hospital due to Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA). While DKA can be a life threatening complication of diabetes, Fat Boi is responding wonderfully to treatment and is expected to be lording over his home and housemates soon.

🐾 A Small Patient with a Big Story 🐾

Little Mouse Phillips has had difficulty breathing through her nose since she was just a tiny kitten. Last week, Mouse visited our Internal Medicine team to better understand the extent of her nasal abnormality and explore what could be done to help improve her breathing.

During her visit, our team was able to determine that the abnormality is primarily limited to the front portion of her nose. We also attempted to gently widen her nasal passage using a tiny balloon in hopes of providing some relief. While Mouse may ultimately need surgery to breathe more comfortably long-term, we are grateful to have been able to provide her mom with important answers and a clearer path forward.

We’re proud to be part of Mouse’s journey and honored to support her and her family every step of the way.
