Dove Healthcare Dove Healthcare - Spooner provides short-term rehabilitation and long-term care.

As a licensed skilled nursing center with a capacity to serve 75 residents, our core services include inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, post-hospital care, skilled nursing, long-term and end-of-life care. Whether your stay at our nursing home is short-term or long-term, you will receive care by skilled nurses and certified nursing assistants twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. We collaborate with your physician and the professionals in our therapy, nutritional services, recreation, and social services departments. Our close association with Dove Healthcare – Spooner Assisted Living, located at 819 Ash St, Suite W201 in Spooner, assures assisted living services are just a step away if needed.

We celebrated Veterans Day on Tuesday with a lovely program, which included Spooner AmVets Commander, John, and veteran Mark, along with singer Becca, and the Spooner High School choir who came in to pass out red, white and blue carnations with cards. A special pinning took place with certificates, hats, and cake as well. A nice luncheon followed with wives, family, and guests. It was a beautiful ceremony, and we thank all veterans for their service.

My own positive experiences receiving physical therapy as a student athlete showed me firsthand the value of the profession and inspired me to follow this path. Over time, I have found a special passion for working with seniors as I truly appreciate their unique perspective on life.”

We are excited to introduce you to our new Regional Director of Operations, Rhonda Blodgett! Rhonda will oversee operations for Dove Healthcare - Osseo, Rice Lake, St. Croix Falls, and Spooner.

Rhonda joins us with 37 years of experience in long-term care, most recently working as a licensed nursing home administrator. Rhonda's expertise and passion for healthcare makes her an excellent asset to Dove Healthcare.

Rhonda shared, "My dedication to this profession is driven by my passion for helping people. I am looking forward to helping our locations grow and be successful in helping those we serve receive the highest quality of care."

In her free time, Rhonda enjoys being outdoors, riding motorcycles, watching football, and visiting her daughters in the Pacific Northwest. She currently lives in Plum City with her husband, Kevin, and their cat, Indie.

Megan shared, "Tiffany is relatively new to the nutritional services team, being here for just four months, but during this time she has made a wonderful impression. She is a pleasure to work with and has worked her way up to become a trainer for our day shift cook. She is always willing to go above and beyond for her coworkers and the residents. We are happy to announce Evan Hong’s HomeGROWN promotion to regional director of marketing and communications! Evan joined our Dove Healthcare team as marketing and social media specialist in April 2024 and has proven to be a tremendous asset, always striving and working hard to learn, grow, and deliver quality results.

Evan shared, "I am excited for the opportunity to lead the department in my new role! I will strive to promote strong communication, develop valuable community relationships, and carry on our mission to provide compassionate care and service to meet the needs of those who depend on us."

Dove Healthcare has experienced great success over the years with our HomeGROWN approach: recognizing passion, dedication, and capabilities in team members and then supporting them with growth as opportunity arises.

Thanks so much to Tabby, maintenance assistant, for going Above & Beyond! Tina shared, "Tabby is hard worker, attends to every work order, and comes in on his days off when there is an emergency. He is kind, cares about the safety of residents, and has a big heart. Tabby deserves to be recognized for the amount of hours and work he puts in to make sure Dove Healthcare – Spooner and Spooner Assisted Living are taken care of. Lastly, he is easy to communicate with and responds instantly, always there when needed, and most importantly he's loved and respected by everyone."

Our Story

Maple Ridge Care Center is non-profit community owned by Wisconsin Illinois Senior Housing Inc. (WISH). Our 75-bed skilled nursing facility offers long-term, short-term, rehabilitation, respite and end-of-life care. Maple Ridge Care Center is Medicare and Medicaid certified. Veterans Administration contracts, and most major insurance plans are accepted. Residents benefit from on-site services such as access to physical, occupational, speech and restorative therapies. We also provide orthopedic care, wound care, diabetes and respiratory management. Amenities include an on-site beauty and barber shop, religious services, daily activities and wellness programs.
