We welcomed the Washburn County Area Humane Society into our facility this week! They brought Vincent with them, and he sure was a sweetie. We all got puppy kisses and fed him plenty of treats! Vincent will be undergoing surgery in the upcoming days and then will be ready to find his forever home.

March is National Social Work Month, and the theme for 2026 is 'Uplift. Defend. Transform.' According to the National Association of Social Workers, the theme honors the prime mission of the Social Work profession – to enhance human well-being, meet the basic human needs of all people, and put special attention on the needs and empowerment of people are vulnerable, oppressed and living in poverty.

Social workers have enriched our society by empowering people and communities to overcome hurdles that prevent them from living life to the fullest.

We thank our Dove Healthcare social workers, and other members of the social services departments, for all they do to support and advocate for our residents!

Established in 2019 to recognize and encourage high school seniors pursuing a career in a healthcare related field at an accredited technical college or four-year university, Dove Healthcare is awarding scholarships at area high schools in the following cities: Barron, Bloomer, Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire, Fennimore, Lodi, Osseo-Fairchild, Rice Lake, Spooner, St. Croix Falls, and Superior.
