Our office is a unique blend of general pediatrics with a focus on wellness through a healthy lifestyle, especially diet. We will have a large "teaching kitchen" in the office so that families can learn in a hands-on way how to prepare healthy food. The kitchen will also be the site of the cooking classes of the nonprofit, The Doctor Yum Project, founded by Dr. Nimali Fernando. In the spring of 2014 we will unveil our outdoor waiting space where well children can garden and play actively while waiting for their check ups.
