Hello everyone, I would like your support! For the past nearly 3 months, I’ve been running a podcast called Unleash Your Freedom, to support creatives and business rebels to get out of their own way and create a life of freedom and abundance on their own terms.

Before I plan the next round of episodes, I’d really like some honest feedback. Would you be up for listening to one or two episodes and then telling me what you like and what you think could be improved?

Hirschsprung dis-ease is a birth defect in which some nerve cells are missing in the large intestine, so a child’s intestine can’t move stool and becomes blocked. About 1 in 5,000 newborns has Hirschsprung disease.

Doctors diagnose Hirschsprung's disease by taking a medical and family history, performing a physical exam, and ordering tests. Tests may include imaging tests, anore**al manometry, and re**al biopsies.

Before Hirschsprung's dis-ease is diagnosed and treated, a child may develop problems with feeding, failure to thrive, or malnutrition. Talk with a doctor about what your child should eat and drink after surgery for Hirschsprung disease. Once they recover, children usually don’t need to follow a special diet although I would highly recommend avoiding constipating foods such as those with dairy.

Since there is no scientific evidence that indicates this can be avoided or prevented, it is still recommended when pregnant to eat healthy foods and take vitamins to support the fetus as best you can.
