We had our version of Chopped today. We want to thank our judges Terri, Judy, and Ruth for picking the winners. We also want to thank Benny Hall for singing during the event. Winners were third place, Golden Griddle Girls, second place was Piggy Back Waffle Dream, and the first place winner was the Sugar and Spice Girls.

We always enjoy Mary and her husband coming to do bingo with us. They are faithful to come on Tuesday and Saturdays.

Judy and her friends, Cathy, Ruth, and Denise, came and did crafts with us. And afterwards helped with a game of Bingo. They made crowns and were queen for a day.

We enjoyed our last day of nursing home week with Casino Day. It was fun to play casino games and afterwards have a ice cream float.

Thursday was Hawaiian Day. Megan with Adoration Hospice provided the snack for Hawaiian Day and we had Hayden Lynn sing for us. We enjoy him each time he comes. He sings very well and Residents love to see him.

Tommy Hardin came and gave us some great songs to go along with our 50-60's day. We enjoyed clapping hands, singing along and dancing with the music. Thank you, Tommy for a great job done. And we want to thank Tristan with Hearth Hospice for doing an Ice cream social at the event. He also makes a great cold coffee which he did that morning for staff.
