Prayers for her dear Momma Trish Reed ❤️ ❤️

Tonya McCabe Amburgey 39, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. Tonya was born February 27, 1987 to Patricia Reed and the late George Earl McCabe. She was a graduate of Rhea County High School “Class of 2006”, afterwards she attended M.T.S.U. in Murfreesboro, TN. Tonya loved all kinds of animals, but especially, she loved horses. Besides riding horses, she also enjoyed going to rodeos, motorcycle riding and buying new clothes for herself! But, Tonya’s greatest accomplishment and the love of her life was the birth of her son Easton. Tonya and Josh were always saying “Live every moment” and they did so with a deep devotion for each other. She attended Faith Baptist Church in Danridge, Tennessee when possible.

Tonya is preceded in death by her father George Earl McCabe; her uncle Charlie McCabe and her twin infant brothers Calvin and Dennis Curry.

Survivors include her husband Josh Amburgey; her son Easton Amburgey, her mother Trish (Clayton Curry) Reed all of Dunlap, Tennessee, her brothers Benjamin Garnet of North Carolina, Trevor Curry of Dunlap and sister Alicia Irizarry of Ohio. Tonya is also survived by her in laws Dennie and Michelle Amburgey of Dunlap, TN and her many, many friends.

Funeral services for Tonya will be Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 3:00PM in the Chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday May 16, 2026 from 1PM to 3PM at Vaughn Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family asked that donations be given to St. Jude in memory of Tonya. http://stjude.org

We would like to congratulate McKailey Jolley! She was chosen to receive our scholarship award this year.
We hope to provide this for a senior each year!

“Yes” Quality of Life is a “For Profit” agency but that means instead of our community donating to our agency, we are able to pour funds back into our community and we are so Thankful that God has blessed us with the ability to help our community in so many ways!

Also a Big Thank You to all our wonderful staff that love and support all our individuals each and everyday! We could not do it without you!!! ❤️

2.Rotating shift off every other weekend 7a-7p.
Week 1: Monday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

3. Day Shift Monday-Friday 7am-3pm occasional on-call

Maintenance Position

Quality of Life has an immediate opening for a general residential and office Maintenance position.
Qualifications include:
Experience with:
Frame and trim carpentry (molding, framing, custom work)
• Light electrical (outlets, light fixtures, switches)
• Light plumbing (faucets, fixtures, basic repairs, septics
• Flooring installation (hardwood, tile, laminate, etc.)
• Drywall repair and installation
• Interior and exterior painting and staining
• Assembly of furniture, fixtures, build ramps, porches, etc.
Be able to do mowing, landscaping, pressure washing, etc.

• All General handyman tasks and problem solving

Also must be able to maintain Maintenace records and be self-motivated, and comply with all agency and state policies.

Must have basic tools, and current Tennessee Drivers License and able to pass a background check.
Pay will be based on experience.
