It was the most LOVELY day for a pontoon ride around Lake Wisconsin on Wednesday! Feeling the warm sunshine and lake breeze and taking in the beautiful scenery of the Baraboo bluffs, all while enjoying time with dear friends and neighbors - you couldn't get a more perfect summer outing! Thank you so much to David Griffin, President and CEO of ElderSpan, for captaining the pontoon!

After a bit of morning baking, the folks received a special delivery from the River Valley Area Community Gardens! The ladies went to work right away prepping the sweet corn for lunch!

Last week, the ladies worked away diligently on their quilts for Project Linus! It was also wonderful to visit with staff member Mary and her grandson, and everyone enjoyed making an adorable clothespin craft!

This past week resident Darlene's son, daughter in law, grandson, wife and great grandchildren came for a visit and for lunch! The folks loved watching them play while getting their hair and nails done in the morning!

What fun last week to take a countryside drive to see the beautiful flowers at resident Doloris' son and daughter-in-law's home. And her granddaughter had a fun old truck filled with flowers! Then some of the ladies made floral decorations for the dining room tables. Thanks to Care Coordinator Kyrie for the idea!

It's always fun to work together on a baking project! Last week the ladies made Apple Crisp and everyone enjoyed it warm with ice cream at lunch.
