Hi my name is Sarah and I have opened Herb Rx in Spring Green WI the very first CBD only store in the area. November 30th, 2018 was our open date. I have been managing my husbands Chiropractic Practice for several years helping patients to have their bodies heal themselves. In recent years I found myself searching for something of my own. CBD has been changing so many lives naturally and this has been a great opportunity for me to be able to supply natural products to help so many people!
Many of you may ask yourself: What is CBD? Why should I use it? What are the benefits? Well we are here to educate YOU. Cannabidiol (CBD) is a cannabis compound found in h**p plants that contains significant medical benefits. It is not psychoactive, which means it does not give you a “psychoactive euphoric effects”. CBD is extracted from the leaves and flowers of cannabis plants, and once it is isolated from the rest of the plant it can be incorporated into products, such as: edibles, oils, and topicals.
These products are used as a way of introducing CBD into the system if it is not already present. Naturally, our bodies already have an Endocannabinoid System; which contains receptors on cells throughout our body in our immune system, cardiovascular system, lymph system, and central nervous system. These receptors use CBD to help regulate balance in the body creating a cascade effect of homeostasis. Our bodies seek balance, therefore, when there is an imbalance in any part of the body our body reacts to it. The use of CBD helps maintain that balance and results in relief of inflammation, anxiety, seizures, psychosis, spasms, depression, and chronic pain without the feelings of lethargy and dysphoria.
