Last night, in Jefferson Borough, a family lost everything due to a fire. If you would like to donate, below is a list of their sizes. They are also in need of dog supplies. Thank you to those who are able to provide aid to the family, even through prayer as they process and heal from this tragedy.

Please drop off donations at the fire hall outback and label them as being for the local family, which would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Happy 4th of July!
I'd love to share a clip from fireworks on the hill at Providence Community Church in Spring Grove.
This was our first year at this show and I have to say, it was beautiful. The music added a deeper more sentimental tone. Simply enjoyable.

We picked almost 8 pounds of strawberries this past Monday! I will say they are absolutely delclicious and a family favorite, especially for the little ones. A nice little surprise this morning. To some, it may seem silly. However, fifteen years and more in the massage therapy industry is sometimes unheard of.
Out of a class of forty, I can count with my hands how many of us are still practicing, continuing to learn and grow within our field. With respect to them and others, there are many factors that could potentially impact a MT's career. Such as (but not limited to):
- Chronic health conditions or illnesses that alter our abilities to continue to practice
- Covid related shut down impacts upon small businesses and risks of therapist health/financial outcomes
- Lack of business
- Property losses
- Breaks from career to tend to our families needs
- Harrasment and Assault. Yes, this is a hard and a triggering one. It does in fact happen to our therapists.
- Abuse within workplace ( both employers and employees)
There is so much more but our industry also faces many challenges battling traffickers and those who are not licensed to practice.
We have many requirements to be able to practice including live continuing education, child abuse reporting classes, CPR and insurances to keep our licenses. Each state varies on their qualifications.

Through everything, I am blessed to have practiced for these fifteen years and will continue to do so for as long as possible. To my family, clients, mentors and community supporters, I thank you for all you have done in your support.
