We're incredibly proud to spotlight the guiding force behind Integrative Healing at OM: Dr. Maria Scunziano-Singh, MD, NMD, DipABLM!

Dr. Maria's remarkable journey blends conventional and holistic medicine. An MD from New York Medical College ('93) and an Internal Medicine residency at Mount Sinai Hospital ('96), she also holds a Naturopathic Medical Doctor (NMD) Diploma ('11) and is a Certified Lifestyle Medicine Physician ('22). She's board-certified in Internal Medicine and a Florida’s Top Docs nominee.

Her holistic philosophy emphasizes nutrition, lifestyle, and integrative techniques for true health. She champions Macro principles for balance and wellness, focusing on whole patient wellness—considering physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual states.

Dr. Maria's vision culminated in the WellCome OM Integral Healing and Education Center in Spring Hill, FL. Here, her expertise offers personalized care to empower individuals on their path to optimal health.

Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Maria's vibrant personality shines! A Sagittarian, she loves purple, dancing, drumming, and staying active. She enjoys soaking up sun rays and watching animals. Mindful of her environment, she carries an EMF reader with her phone in airplane mode, and her purse always has Sun Chlorella and Kelp Granules. Plus, she always has something wonderfully off-the-wall to say!

Today, we're celebrating another vital member of our Integrative Healing at OM family: Christy, our incredible IV Therapy RN!

Christy brings over twelve years of invaluable experience in the healthcare field, with a robust background in neurology and cardiology within intensive care settings. Her expertise is further solidified by her IV and PICC line certifications, ensuring top-tier skill and precision in her work.

Over the years, Christy's experiences in conventional healthcare opened her eyes and heart to a more holistic approach to healing. This personal evolution now guides her daily practice, not just with our patients, but also in how she supports her husband and two children's well-being.

Christy possesses a true passion for helping people heal and empowering them to become the best versions of themselves. She's genuinely thrilled to be able to combine her exceptional nursing skills with her deep love for natural healing, all in one dedicated place here at Integrative Healing at OM.

As Dr. Maria Scunziano-Singh's Certified Clinical Medical Assistant and our indispensable Office Manager, Mary is truly the heart of our operations. With a career journey that began in elementary education and smoothly transitioned into the medical field in her early twenties, Mary brings a rich and diverse background to her role. Her medical experience spans general, surgical, and ophthalmology, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of patient care.

Mary's shift from conventional medicine to a holistic approach wasn't just a career move – it was a deeply personal choice. This passion for integrative alternatives now guides her every day, both in her personal life and in the exceptional care she provides to our patients. She is eager to share her knowledge and ensure everyone receives the very best.
