♟️🎲Adaptive Board Game Club is a weekly social experience for individuals ages 8–18 with disabilities and their siblings, designed to make board gaming accessible and fun for everyone.

Each week includes time for free play with friends, along with a featured game where the group learns how to play together.

Through thoughtful adaptations—like larger cards, modified pieces, and accessible tools—games are adjusted to meet a variety of needs so every participant can fully join in.

At its core, Adaptive Board Game Club is about inclusion, creativity, and connection, creating a space where everyone can play, participate, and belong.

Days: Every Wednesday June 3rd - July 29th (except July 1st - CLUBHOUSE CLOSED)

We are happy to share that our Posability Pictures sensory-friendly movie was a huge success, with over 60 people in attendance! 💙🍿
It means so much to us to be able to provide an inclusive, welcoming space for all families in our community. One of our favorite things is hearing that for some children, this was their very first time ever experiencing a movie theater. Moments like that remind us exactly why we do what we do!
We’re already looking ahead to our next sensory-friendly movie in June—and trust us, it’s going to be a TOY-tally awesome hit 😉🎬

A: No. Posability is not a daycare, school, or therapy center. We are recreation-based, and everything we offer is designed around fun, play, and inclusion for people of all abilities!

Posability Summer Program Option! ☀️
💻📱AAC Social Club is a weekly social experience for individuals ages 8–18 who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), along with their siblings, designed to create connection in a patient and inclusive environment.

Each gathering provides opportunities for relaxed interaction, peer connection, and communication using whatever tools work best—whether devices, communication boards, or other supports.

With the option to drop off or stay and participate, families can also connect and learn alongside one another.

At its core, AAC Social Club is about inclusion, confidence, and belonging, creating a space where every voice is valued, supported, and heard.

Days: Every Wednesday June 3rd - July 29th
(except July 1st - CLUBHOUSE CLOSED)
Times: 9:30-11:00AM
Cost: $100 per child

April is Autism Acceptance Month 💙
We’re proud to share that our friends at Autism Everywhere have officially accepted a proclamation from the City Government of Brooksville Florida. This meaningful recognition highlights the importance of awareness, acceptance, and inclusion in our communities.
At Posability, alongside so many dedicated organizations, we continue striving to create a world where individuals with autism are fully accepted, supported, and celebrated!

April is Autism Acceptance Month 💙

The City of Brooksville is proud to recognize and celebrate the individuals in our community who are on the autism spectrum. Autism is a developmental condition that affects communication, behavior, and social interaction—and today, 1 in 36 children in the United States is diagnosed.

This month is a time to promote understanding, inclusion, and acceptance for all. Individuals with autism contribute to our community every single day, bringing unique perspectives, talents, and strengths that make Brooksville a better place.

While progress has been made, many individuals and families still face challenges. That’s why it’s important we continue to support resources—not just for children, but for adults with autism as well—so everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

The Brooksville City Council has officially proclaimed April 2026 as Autism Acceptance Month and encourages all residents to come together in support, inclusion, and acceptance—this month and beyond.

The Proclamation was accepted by Rachel Fury with Autism Everywhere, at the Monday, April 6th, 2026 City Council meeting.

Let’s continue building a community where everyone feels welcomed and valued 💙

🎨Posability Intermediate Art Class is open to ALL kids!
We welcome any 8+ years old to attend our INTERMEDIATE Summer Arts Class offering in depth instruction in creative arts!

Kids will receive instruction through weekly lessons, explore different mediums, artistic styles, and famous artists! Each project will be hands-on and full of fun!

Students will attend an 1.5 hour class once a week to work on a number of different projects that will be showcased at the end of the semester –July 27th!
Each participant will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the summer!

📆Day & Time: Mondays 10am-11:30am
(Starts June 1st - July 27th - 8 classes total!)
No Class on June 29th - Clubhouse CLOSED!!!
📍Location: Emmalee’s Clubhouse

Tuesdays are for F.R.I.E.N.D.S! 💙
Posability’s Teen Social Group is one of our favorite programs—it fills such an important need for teens of varying abilities to practice social skills, build independence, and grow in confidence.
In 2026, our goal is to open a Teen Center right here in Hernando County so we can expand this program and serve even more families!
