We found a fun, Thanksgiving themed fine motor skills activity for your kiddos! Here’s what to do:
1. On a cardboard box, draw out a turkey with paint or markers, with different colored tail feathers. 2. Glue on some googly eyes, and add a beak and snood cut from paper. 3. Cut small holes in the tail feathers. 4. Give your kiddo a bowl of multicolored Pom pins and have them match them to the tail feather colors. We found this one at happytoddlerplaytime.com.

Our vestibular sense is controlled from within the inner ear, and helps to regulate our sense of balance as well as our body movements. You may notice your kiddos like to spin, rock or climb excessively, or may not seem to understand the dangers and risks in impulsive running, jumping or climbing. Providing some safe ways to fulfill their vestibular sense is the best option which may include swings, slides or trampolines!

Here is a fun, fine motor activity for your kiddos! All you need is a paper plate, a pair of googly eyes, and white yarn. 1. Poke holes around the edge of the plate, about 30. 2. Glue the eyes near the top, and draw a mouth with a black marker. 3. Pull the yarn through the back of the plate near the bottom, and tie a knot near the end to secure. 4. Lace back and forth starting at the bottom working towards the top. 5. After pulling yarn through the last hole, tie a knot at the back side to secure. That’s it!
