Our residents enjoyed a lovely lunch outing today at Joy Wok! Everyone had a wonderful time sharing good food, laughter, and conversation. It’s always such a joy to see our residents out in the community making memories together. 🍜🥢❤️

Stop by Spring Hill Care & Rehab anytime between 9 AM – 4 PM on Halloween for some trick-or-treating fun with our residents!
We can’t wait to see all the cute costumes and share some sweet treats! 🍬🧡

- If anyone would like to donate any extra or unopened candy, we’d be so grateful. Donations can be dropped off at the front desk anytime before the events. 🎃

🍁 Happy Fall From Spring Hill 🍁
Our team had such a fun time coming together to decorate the front of our facility for fall! 🍂
We were also lucky to have a very talented volunteer paint a beautiful tree on our window — with our residents’ names in the roots and trunk, and our staff in the leaves. 🌳
It’s a perfect reminder that our residents are the foundation of everything we do, and together we make one big family. 🧡

Together we stand with all the fighters, survivors, and those we’ve lost — raising awareness and spreading hope one pink shirt at a time. 🎀

🌸 Celebrating a Wonderful Retirement! 🌸

Today we honor and celebrate Denise, one of our amazing CMA/CNAs, as she retires. 💕

Denise has been such a blessing to our residents and staff. Always sweet, smiling, caring, and full of love, she has truly made a difference in so many lives here. Her dedication and compassion have left a lasting mark on our facility, and she will be dearly missed by all.

Please join us in wishing Denise the happiest retirement filled with joy, relaxation, and all the love she so freely gave to others. 💐💖

🏈✨ Over the past few weeks, our residents have been tuning in each week to watch an episode of the Kansas City Chiefs documentary. They’ve really enjoyed learning about the history of the team, the players, and all the incredible moments that shaped the Chiefs legacy. Tomorrow we’ll be watching the final episode together — a perfect way to wrap up this fun series! ❤️💛

🌟 Congratulations to Betty Gravenstein – Citizen of the Year! 🌟

This year at the Fall Festival, the Citizen of the Year Award was given to someone very dear to our hearts – Betty Gravenstein.

For the past 25 years, Betty has been a faithful volunteer at our home. She is always bubbly, positive, and ready to lend a hand – whether it’s helping feed residents, calling bingo, or spending time with those who don’t have frequent visitors.

Betty’s compassion, energy, and dedication make her a true blessing to our residents and staff alike. We are beyond grateful for all that she does, and we couldn’t imagine our home without her. 💛

✨🍂 Today we joined in on the Spring Hill Fall Festival and parade! 🍂✨

This year’s theme was The Wizard of Oz, and our team had so much fun bringing the story to life. We decorated our van as the Emerald City 🌆, dressed the kids as the beloved characters 🌈, and added our own special twist to the classic quote:

“There’s no place like this home.” 💚

Our residents had the best seats along the parade route, cheering and waving as the floats passed by. It was such a joyful day filled with community, laughter, and memories. 🥰

🍨 New Monthly Tradition Alert! 🍨

Last month we tried something new with our residents — DIY Parfaits — and it was such a hit that we brought it back again this month! 💕

The first time around, everyone built their own sweet treat with angel food cake, vanilla pudding, Cool Whip, fresh fruit, and vanilla Oreo crumbles. This month, we added an extra option: a rich chocolate version with crumbled brownies, chocolate fudge pudding, Cool Whip and chocolate Oreos 🍫✨

The best part? The residents have officially decided… this is now a monthly activity! 🎉 We love seeing the smiles (and creative parfait masterpieces!) every time.

(P.S. I forgot to grab a picture of the finished products — but trust me, they looked just as amazing as they tasted! 😋)

💍✨ We are so excited to celebrate one of our beloved CNAs, Sadie, who recently tied the knot! 🥂❤️

What made this moment even more special is that our residents were able to join in on her big day by watching her wedding on TV. It brought so many smiles, happy tears, and joy to share in such a beautiful occasion together.
