Activity: Water Gun Tie-Dye

Story: With the weather cooling down I thought it would be a perfect time to get the residents outside for a little fun! So, with a lot of plastic placed for protection- 5 Tie-Dye filled water guns-and some white t-shirt… The fun began! And THEY LOVED IT!

Story: What a fun happy day we had yesterday here at Willow Springs and Arbors !! An ice cream truck surely made us all feel like kids again!!! Thank you Ranisha for making it happen it was so appreciated. Thank you Roll-Up Ice cream for coming out. 🍨

Let the week begin! We started our beautiful day off with two hummingbirds, coming to our brand new feeder all morning long. They were even out there while we sat out on our patio outback. We had fun exercising this morning with TheraBands and quickly moved into Monday Morning Muffins & Memories. And finally, but definitely not the least we had our wonderful favorite saxophone player Mario come to entertain us today. As you can see from the pictures and the video everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I say that’s a pretty good way to start the week off, let’s see what the rest of the week has to offer for us. 💞P.S. please take note of the very last picture. It’s a little bit of what’s to come. Please put us on your calendars for our family fall festival coming up next month!

There’s never a dull moment here at Willow Springs assisted living. From reading with Vicki, fun games of bingo with Church Of Nazareth, to Group Support with Kelli, Donuts & Discussions and lastly August birthday party ending with Friday Happy Hour! And “ That’s a wrap!” Happy weekend, families from our house to yours.❤️

Activity: Tai Chi & Yoga

Story: Physical wellness is important at any age. Ms. Carol is a testament to that- An avid Yoga doer in her younger years - She doesn’t let her being in a wheel chair stop her. Every morning she is up and ready to get her fitness on…even before the exercise class begins. She encourages others to participate and will often be in the center leading the class. Whether it be doing chair dancing/yoga/ tai chi or other physical activities- she is always ready to get active.

Story: Today at Willow Springs we chose to stop and take in this beautiful morning outside. It does the soul well to get out in nature and reflect and just soak in what God has given us for this day. We are forever thankful.🙏🏻 🌳
