5 FACTS THAT COULD SAVE A LIFE

FACT #1:
🧠 Stroke kills brain cells
When a clot or rupture stops blood flow to the brain, cells begin to die quickly without oxygen-rich blood.

FACT #2:
⚠️ Types of stroke:
Ischemic – caused by a clot
Hemorrhagic – caused by a rupture
TIA (“warning stroke”) – temporary blockage

FACT #3:
♻️ 1 in 4 stroke survivors is at risk for another. But the good news? Up to 80% of second strokes may be preventable.

FACT #4:
🩺 Prevention is key. Work with your doctor to manage blood pressure, lifestyle choices, medications. After an ischemic stroke or TIA, antiplatelet or anticoagulant therapy is often prescribed.

FACT #5:
