There’s something so very sacred about those final postpartum visits. Six weeks of healing, learning, crying, feeding, growing, and becoming. And while this season has brought unexpected changes behind the scenes, one thing remains unchanged, the heart of In Due Season has always been, and will always be, the families we serve.
These sweet families came in with smiles, with gratitude, with babies growing beautifully, and with trust that means more than words can say. I had the honor of celebrating their “graduation day” with them, and honestly, these moments reminded me why this work matters so much to me.
Transitions are never easy. Sometimes they come suddenly and leave everyone trying to find steady footing again. But birth work has taught me something powerful over the years, women are stronger than they realize, families are capable of incredible grace, and the foundation built with love and service can weather difficult seasons.
To these precious parents, thank you for allowing us to walk alongside you during one of the most vulnerable and beautiful chapters of your lives. Watching your babies thrive is one of the greatest gifts of this calling.
And to our community, thank you for continuing to believe in the vision and heart behind In Due Season. We are still here, still serving, still growing, and still faithfully walking families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and beyond. 🤍

For nearly a decade, In Due Season Birth Center has existed for one purpose, to faithfully serve women and families during some of the most blessed and vulnerable moments of their lives.

This work has never been about popularity, recognition, or applause. It has always been about mothers, babies, and creating a space where women feel heard, safe, educated, respected, and deeply cared for.

Like any ministry or healthcare practice that pours into people day after day, there are seasons that stretch us, refine us, and test us. But one thing remains unchanged, our commitment to the birthing community.

Our team continues to show up every single day for the families entrusted to our care. We continue to answer late night phone calls, attend births, wipe tears, celebrate victories, pray with families, and walk beside women through both joy and hardship.

To the mothers who have trusted us over the years, thank you. Your stories, your babies, and your families are part of the heart of In Due Season.

And moving forward, we will continue doing what we have always set out to do, faithfully serve families in due season.

“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9

How incredibly lucky are we? Being entrusted to care for our patients is truly such a beautiful thing. We adore each and every one of the beautiful families that come into our care and getting baby snuggles at the end is seriously just the cherry on top! Midwife Christina got to love on this little 6 week cutie today while we celebrated his and his awesome mommy’s graduation.
