OUR STORY
Robinson Chiropractic Inc. was established in 2013, four years later licensed physical therapy was added in 2017 and became Robinson Chiropractic & Physical Therapy. Since then, it is one of the only state of the art practices in the area utilizing both chiropractic and licensed physical therapy under the same roof. Our advanced combination of chiropractic and physical therapy enables us to give our patients a unique environment where two allied health professions join together in the treatment of chronic and or acute pain conditions of the body. This partnership allows each provider to collaborate care together more closely, which aids in the treatment of and in some cases, assists in achieving an even speedier recovery.
OUR PRACTICE
Here at Robinson Chiropractic & Physical Therapy various methods are used to provide our patients with a complete rehabilitation program. Therapies such as physical therapy, spinal decompression, massage, ultrasound, cold laser, braces, and others are done in our complete physical therapy bay. Our providers have worked with a multitude of conditions from all stages of life, whether they stem from an auto accident, sports or work related injury, a surgical procedure, spring cleaning, or just natural aging of the body. Both providers especially enjoy the challenges of helping patients recover from surgery and those trying to avoid surgery.
Other areas we treat are pregnancy back pain, by helping women ease pain that is typically endured before and after childbirth. We also take the time to offer school, sports, and work physicals to make sure students and employees are cleared for any special activities required at school and work.
SPINAL DECOMPRESSION
We use spinal decompression for both cervical and lumbar traction for issues such as neck, back, & arm pain, disc bulge or herniation. We use state of the art computerized tables that are individually programmed by our providers and are specific to each patient’s issue. Treatment with Spinal Decompression helps improve conditions such as sciatica, spinal stenosis, facet syndrome, spondylosis, or even failed spine surgery.
MASSAGE THERAPY
With our licensed massage therapy program we offer different massage such as Swedish, deep tissue, injury, therapeutic, and pregnancy, along with hot stones and cupping. Massage helps increase the circulation of fluid which helps promote faster healing and reduce migraines. In our facility, we use special oils to help calm the pain and loosen the soft tissue allowing patients more unrestricted movement. We also offer frequent massage specials and packages to help patients who will benefit from this therapy, since most major medical insurances do not cover massage therapy services.
SELF-PAY OR UNDER-INSURED
For patients who are without insurance or do not have chiropractic benefits included in their insurance plan, we do offer a self pay insurance program. We do not believe in selling high priced packages in our practice. We believe every patient is different and will need their own detailed treatment plan. We find that these treatment plans will ultimately vary in length based on each patient’s disorder and their body’s response to treatment and therapy. The majority of the patients we see are typically better within 2 to 3 weeks of treatment if not sooner.
OUR MISSION
Our overall mission at the practice is to provide excellent care in a comprehensive clinical setting. We help relieve our patients of pain and dysfunction, strengthen the injured area, and get them back to regular daily activity. This can mean being a weekend warrior again, improving your sports game, recovering from surgery, or providing for your family without pain. At Robinson Chiropractic & Physical Therapy, we provide you with a complete plan to improve your wellness and help give you a better, balanced life.
We also work with board certified specialists and providers in the Tampa Bay area with proven track records. We want to make sure our patients are receiving the best care, the same that we would choose for our own families.
