🥩 Lean meat, seafood, & dairy
🍓 Fruits & vegetables
🌾 Whole grains
🥜 Nuts & seeds

And sprinkle in some other, more processed foods on occasion.

When 3 out of every 4 people you know is overweight or obese—as is the case statistically in America—it’s easy to tell yourself the 4th person just has a fast metabolism; has hours to workout every day; doesn’t have a busy schedule; has unique genetics; doesn’t have hormonal considerations; etc.

After all, they’re the anomaly.

You’re normal—they’re the exception.

But “normal,” in this sense, is unhealthy.

And you should be pushing against “normal,” not embracing it.
