We must advocate for policies that protect the health and well-being of all Americans, regardless of their income or background. Health insurance, including Medicaid, gives people the opportunity to receive preventive care, which not only improves individual health outcomes but also saves the country money in the long run.
In the event that these cuts to Medicaid do happen, it is important for families to have a plan in place to help senior members who may be affected. This could include exploring other healthcare options, seeking out community resources, or joining forces with organizations that work with seniors and low-income families.
