Goodstein joined Hearsay ENT Docs to provide quality, personalized care to the patients of Northwest Philadelphia and has opened a new office in Spring House, just north of Ambler, PA. Trained in all areas of ENT, Dr. Goodstein provides comprehensive care for many conditions including sinus and allergy disease, hearing loss and tinnitus, voice and swallowing disorders, balance conditions and pediatric otolaryngology. She looks forward to offering a host of in-office procedures including myringotomy and tube place as well as allergy testing and immunotherapy. She will offer same day walk-in visits so that patients can receive timely care when they need it most. A brand new office is under construction that will feature a state-of-the-art procedure room for in-office nasal and sinus procedures. This will allow us to provide advanced care to our patients in a comfortable and convenient setting. For the time being, she will be sharing a temporary space at the same address, and should be seeing patients starting May 2023. Dr. Goodstein is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Otolaryngology. When not at work, Dr. Goodstein enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, going on hikes and runs, and playing pickleball.

We are excited to continue growing and are thrilled to have Allison join our team of providers. She will be managing our allergy program and assisting in the care of our ENT patients.

Allison recently completed her Nurse Practitioner training at Thomas Jefferson University and previously served as the charge nurse on the high-acuity oncology unit at Abington Hospital. She brings a wealth of experience, a warm and compassionate demeanor, and a true dedication to patient care.

🌟 Thrilled to share my recent journey to Jacksonville, Florida! 🌟

🏥 As an ENT surgeon, continuous education and staying at the forefront of technology is essential. That's why I traveled to the Medtronic headquarters to immerse myself in the latest advancements in sinus surgery and neuronavigation technology.

💡 From hands-on cadaver practice to trialing the newest tools, including Eustachian tube balloon dilation, every moment was a chance to learn and grow. Networking with fellow professionals added another layer of enrichment to the experience.

🚴‍♂️ And of course, a little rest and relaxation were in order! Nothing beats a rejuvenating 3-hour bike ride along the beach. 🌟

Did you know that approximately 110,000 people are diagnosed with oral, head, and neck cancer every year in the United States? Even more staggering is the fact that most cases are preventable. Awareness is key to prevention and early detection.

HPV (Human Papillomavirus) is playing a significant role in the rise of cancers affecting the oropharynx (tonsils and base of tongue), particularly among younger non-smokers. This underscores the importance of vaccination and regular screenings.

Know the signs: Keep an eye out for a sore in your mouth that doesn’t heal, persistent sore throat, lumps or patches in your mouth, trouble swallowing, changes in your voice, or a lump in your neck. Early detection saves lives.

Let's spread awareness, encourage screenings, and empower ourselves and our loved ones with knowledge. Together, we can make a difference in the fight against head and neck cancer. 💪
