Statement from Heather Burnside, PA-C Regarding the Unannounced Relocation of Premier MD Plus

To Our Valued Patients, Clients, and Community:

I am writing with a heavy heart to share that, effective this morning, I was informed that my employment with Premier MD Plus has been terminated. This comes on the heels of a significant and deeply troubling development: the practice was physically relocated over the weekend to a new address without my knowledge, involvement, or consent.

Many of you may have seen the public announcement posted earlier this morning by Premier MD Plus stating:

"PremierMD+ is relocating to a new medical office! Starting May 27th, we’ll be seeing patients at our new location, chosen and designed to offer you an even more professional, comfortable and personal healthcare experience...
📍 622 East Savidge St., Spring Lake, MI 49456."

I want to make it unequivocally clear: I had no part in this move. I was not made aware of it until after it occurred, nor was I given any opportunity to inform my patients, transition their care, or participate in the planning. This abrupt change took place entirely outside of my control.

As a co-owner and long-serving physician assistant at Premier MD Plus, I am devastated that our loyal patients have been left confused and uninformed. Had I been involved, I would have ensured that your continuity of care and trust in our team was preserved and respected.

To those who placed your care in my hands: I would never abandon you. I have dedicated myself to practicing medicine with integrity, compassion, and accessibility. I would have never allowed this to happen without first personally communicating with you and providing a thoughtful transition.

I am currently reviewing my options and evaluating how I can continue serving this community and the many patients who have become like family to me. In the meantime, if you have concerns or wish to reach me, please feel free to contact me directly at hburnsidepac@gmail.com.

We’ve got exciting news — PremierMD+ is relocating to a new medical office! Starting May 27th, we’ll be seeing patients at our new location, chosen and designed to offer you an even more professional, comfortable and personal healthcare experience.
