🌟🌟🌟 Featured Staff Friday! 🌟🌟🌟
Kayla is a PT here at LMS! Kayla has worked for PHS for 7 years now, and she says her favorite part of being a PT is that her job constantly challenges her to grow, learn and think outside of the box. When asked what keeps her coming to work every day, Kayla says that she loves building relationships with the residents. She finds joy in discovering what matters to them and finding ways to bring laughter and postivity to each session especially as she works through their mobility challenges with them. She has always had a heart for working with the senior population and she gets so much fullfillment from celebrating their wins, no matter how big or small! One of Kayla's favorite work memories is when she was walking with a resident and a huge spider went racing across the floor in front of them. As Kayla's face lit up in panic, the resident looked at her and said "Don't worry, I've got it" and proceeded to run over the spider with her walker! The resident saved the day :-) Outside of work, you will find Kayla gardening, hiking, playing pickleball, and spending time with her family. One fun fact about Kayla: She loves to dance! Dance has been a big part of her life since she was 4 years old, and becuase of this she is determined to keep her balance strong as she gets older.
