Even with an ice storm moving through, our employees continue to show up with dedication, teamwork, and care to ensure our community stays safe, supported, and running smoothly.

And because a little comfort goes a long way, we were proud to celebrate Staff Pajama Day as a small thank-you for their hard work—proof that even on the toughest days, our team brings warmth, heart, and a great sense of fun.

Their commitment doesn’t go unnoticed, and we are so grateful for the extra effort they put in—especially during challenging conditions. Thank you for always going above and beyond for our residents and for each other. 💙

Get ready with us as we update our aquarium! 🐟

A few months ago, our residents setup our aquarium for our new fish friends! Recently, they decided the aquarium wasn’t big enough so off to our local Petco, where the Aquarium Committee members debated which size to get, voted on what color substrate to buy, as well as any decorations we need!

🐠 Looking to add fish to your family? Visit Petco, for everything you need to get started! Just tell them your friends at The Landing at Augusta Woods sent you!

🥂 Cheers to good food and great company! Our resident Outing Committee planned a wonderful late lunch to Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen last week! It was so good that committee member, Dale, suggested we go every month! 🚌

Thank you to the Pappadeaux Team for great service and a great time! Will Dale’s suggestion come to fruition? Stay tuned for our February calendar!

Rummikub is one of those sneaky-good games that feels relaxed, but is secretly doing a lot for your brain - such as sharpening problem-solving, sequencing, and pattern recognition skills, while boosting memory and strategic thinking! 🧠

This week - a few of the ladies came together, under the direction of Dr. Carol, and formed another Rummikub group called the “Fast Moving Rummy Ladies!” 💃

Join these ladies every Tuesday at 1pm in the Lobby! All are welcome to join - after all Rummikub “brings everyone together!”
