🧠 Today is World Brain Day! We’re taking a moment to highlight the many ways we can support brain health, especially as we age. We encourage patients and residents to stay engaged through activities such as puzzles, reading, and group discussions. Daily movement, such as gentle stretching or walking, helps keep both the body and brain strong.
A healthy diet, adequate sleep, social connections, and effective management of chronic conditions are vital for maintaining cognitive health. For aging adults, social activity promotes independence and improves quality of life. Regular medical check-ups help in the early detection of cognitive issues, such as mild cognitive impairment and dementia.
Let’s keep our brains active, engaged, and supported every day — not just on World Brain Day! To learn more about brain health, follow the World Federation of Neurology - WFN. ✨️
